Compact Right Angle Bevel Gearbox Sets the standard for 1:1, 2:1, 3:1, 4:1 and 5:1 spiral bevel gear drives. Every component is precision machined, inspected and then carefully assembled. These right angle gear drive boxes are quiet in operation due to the special care taken in manufacturing and assembly. Our 90° miter gearboxes are compact and reliable spiral bevel gear drives precisely designed for a dependable, economical transfer of speed or power.
Spiral bevel gears have curved teeth to improve contact and reduce the amount of vibration and noise generated when the gear moves at high speeds. The flexibility and enhanced traction of this design also makes spiral bevel gearboxes an excellent option for high-volume applications and those involving steep or varying planes.

* Housing: HT250 Cast Iron, High-strength Casting housing, or Aluminum alloy. Custom Stainless Steel 304 or 316.
* Spiral Bevel Gears: High purity rugged alloy steel 20CrMnTi, Carburizing and Quenching, Case Hardened and Lapped in Pairs.
* Input Shaft and Output Shaft: Hardened and tempered alloy steel 40Cr as standard. Custom Stainless Steel 304 or 316.
* Bearing: Equipped with Tapered Roller Bearings with heavy load capacity. Custom reinforced bearings for higher radial and axial load. Custom Stainless Steel 304.
* Oil Seals: Double-lip Oil Seal, High Dust-proof and Oil leak proof.
* Lubricants: Applications with high speeds and/or high daily duty cycle, Gear oil #320 lubrication is recommended. But applications with low input speed and low daily duty cycle, #0 or #00 lithium grease is recommended. All aluminum alloy gearboxes models (JTP65 - JTP140) with #00 lithium grease for lubrication. Note: For input speeds 1500 rpm a change in oil level may be required in combination with a breather (vent).
