| The advantage of spiral bevel gears is that both the quietness and the transmittable torque can be increased. High speeds are also possible with this type of gear teeth. Bevel gearing generates high axial and radial loads during operation, which can only be absorbed at one side because of the intersecting axes. Particularly when it is used as a rapidly rotating drive stage in multi-stage gearboxes, special attention must be paid to the service life of the bearing. Also, unlike worm gearboxes, self-locking cannot be realized in bevel gearboxes. When a right angle gearbox is needed, bevel gearboxes can be used as a low-cost alternative to hypoid gearboxes. | |||||||||

Product Description
T Series 90 Degree Bevel Gearbox JT60, soild input and output shafts diameter 60mm. Spiral bevel gearboxes incorporate the most modern advances in bevel gearbox design and construction. These gearboxes offer an extensive range of ratios together with an excellent power to size relationship as well as low noise levels even at high speed operation. When alignment is not correct, the mechanical parts, especially the mounted bearings, will be overcharged and lifetime will be shortened. The bevel boxes have to be mounted on a flat and rigid surface to prevent movements, oscillations or vibrations and to withstand the weight of the units. The bevel boxes are supplied lubricated with grease for a use at an input speed up to and not over 900rpm, 1000 rpm. In all other cases oil lubrication has to be used.

* Housing: HT250 Cast Iron, High-strength Casting housing(JT19 - JT85).
* Spiral Bevel Gears: High purity rugged alloy steel 20CrMnTi, Carburizing and Quenching, Case Hardened and Lapped in Pairs.
* Input Shaft and Output Shaft: Hardened and tempered alloy steel 40Cr as standard. Custom Stainless Steel 304 or 316.
* Bearing: Equipped with Tapered Roller Bearings with heavy load capacity. Custom reinforced bearings for higher radial and axial load. Custom Stainless Steel 304.
* Oil Seals: Double-lip Oil Seal, High Dust-proof and Oil leak proof.
* Lubricants: Applications with high speeds and/or high daily duty cycle, Gear oil #320 lubrication is recommended. But applications with low input speed (less than 200rpm) and low daily duty cycle, #0 or #00 lithium grease is recommended. Note: For input speeds 1500 rpm a change in oil level may be required in combination with a breather (vent).
