Self-locking occurs when system efficiencies are low enough that the force on the lifting shaft cannot cause the drive system to reverse direction. All bevel gear screw jacks can back drive and require some means of holding the load, such as a brake on the motor. The product specification pages show holding torque values. Holding torque represents the amount of input torque required to restrain the load. In addition to back driving, system inertia usually results in some over travel when the motor is switched off. Bevel Gear Machine Screw Jack 3000kg-32x6-Trapezoidal Screw. High speed bevel gear screw jacks supplement our offer of worm gear screw jacks. They are more efficient and may be used in a broader field of applications. They may be used in a medium load range, with a high lifting speed and longer operating time. All high speed screw jacks are equipped with hardened, sharpened and spiral-toothed bevel gear transmissions. Therefore, they attain high lifting speeds and improved efficiency. All bevel gear jacks work in all installation positions. Due to their cubic casing they can be mounted flexibly.

* Standard with 1-start thread screw, custom 2-starts threads screw which offers increased travel speed and require a brake or external locking device to hold position.
* Screw end fittings: top plate, clevis end, threaded end, plain end, fork head and rod end.
* Power source: manual handwheel, electric motor drive, or both together.
* Can be applied either individually use or combined into a exactly synchronized lifting system(multiple jack systems), linked by connecting shafts, bevel gearboxes, couplings, electric motors, gear reducers, limit switches and pillow blocks etc.
