| In the case of screw jacks with trapezoidal thread spindles, only a small part of the drive power is converted into lifting force. There are losses in the worm drive and at the trapezoidal thread, which have to be dissipated in the form of heat. The efficiency of trapezoid thread spindles is far lower as compared to ball screw spindles because of the sliding friction. However, the trapezoidal screw is technically simpler and less expensive. Any securing, for example by a brake, should be examined individually, owing to the limited self-locking of trapezoidal screws. | |||||||||

* Self-locking trapezoidal screw sizes Tr 50x10.
* Two gear ratios: high ratio 1:8, slow ratio 1:24.
* Custom stroke length, maximum stroke 3500 mm in compression load, 4500 mm in tension load.
