| The worm gear driven 10 Ton Machine Screw Jack incorporates an alloy steel worm which drives a high strength bronze worm gear (drive sleeve). The worm shaft is supported on anti-friction tapered roller bearings with external seals provided to prevent loss of lubrication. The drive sleeve is supported on anti-friction tapered roller or ball thrust bearings. Rotation of the drive sleeve causes the acme thread lifting screw to translate or rotate, depending upon jack configuration. The jack housing is made of ductile iron and proportioned to support the rated capacity of the unit. | |||||||||

Product Description
Classic Machine Screw Jack 10 Ton-58x12-Trapezoidal Screw. Machine Screw Jacks are installed on the adjustable table and centring stops for the Rectangular Hollow Sections department at Steel pipe mill. Automated adjustable stop mechanisms use translating machine screw jacks in inverted screw configuration. Each stop mechanism uses a four screw jack system that is driven by one electric motor. The electric motor is positioned in the centre of the system with 2 jacton screw jacks either side. A bevel gearbox is used to split the drive line to each side from the motor with self-supporting drive shafts (spacer couplings) used to connect each screw jack to the system. One screw jack in each system is fitted with an encoder for speed and position feedback, which is displayed on an electronic display.

* Custom double clevis screw jack, trunnion mount screw jack, and anti-backlash screw jack.
* Can be used as alternatives to hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
